Matt Jaye is a singer-songwriter and a recording artist. He has been playing since he was 10 when got his first guitar. Over the last two years, he has been building his career and playing over 100 shows a season and is currently working on his first studio EP. He plays acoustic guitar, harmonica, and sings. Some songs feature the use of a foot tambourine and incorporate percussion, which is unique.
His musical inspiration came from his parents and being raised on vinyl albums of artists like Eric Clapton, John Denver, James Taylor and Jackson Brown. As he got older and went to college, his musical tastes branched out and he drew musical inspiration from the likes of Ed Sheeran, John Mayer and Brent Smith of Shinedown.
